Rainmeter allows you to display customizable skins on your desktop, from hardware usage meters to fully functional audio visualizers. This change is to eliminate the possibility that a user could turn off the tray icon and then unload all skins, thus no longer having any way to interact with Rainmeter.Rainmeter is a free, open-source platform that enables skins to run on the desktop.
